The Gardenia Absolute, also known as Gardenia Essential Oil, is a natural extract obtained from the white flowers of the Gardenia jasminoides tree, which is grown in India. This essential oil has a delightful floral scent that is sweet, radiant, and slightly herbaceous. The flowers are carefully handpicked in the early morning to ensure that the essential oil concentration is at its highest during distillation.

Gardenias are aromatic creamy-white flowers that grow singly or in small clusters. They have glossy dark green leaves with a leathery texture and prominent veins. Originally from China, Gardenias have been cultivated for thousands of years and are highly adaptable shrubs that can tolerate sun or semi-shade and do well in well-drained, humus-rich soil. Due to their sweet and rich fragrance, Gardenias are also known as White Angels.
